I am an economist dedicated to leveraging data, technology, and rigorous research to drive impactful solutions in the digital economy and international development. As a Research Scientist at Meta, I have led research that informed policy and product strategies, designed evidence-based solutions for underserved communities, and forecast macroeconomic trends to guide investment strategies. 

In addition, I co-founded Beaj Education, a social enterprise empowering underserved youth in Pakistan with digital skills to enhance economic inclusion. Supported by philanthropic funding, our programs are designed to deliver measurable and scalable outcomes that address systemic inequalities.

My research has been published in leading academic journals, including the American Political Science Review and (conditionally accepted at) American Economic Review: Insights, and featured in outlets such as the Washington Post and Dawn Pakistan. I also host Unpacking Us, a podcast that explores the intersection of technology, economics, and development in the Global South.
